Intech's SUPRX™,
an enhanced SS317L P/M alloy grade, is a proprietary and patented material that produces a "fully-dense" product with exceptional resistance to crevice and pitting corrosion from the chloride ion along with other corrosion resisting qualities plus above average machinability and weldability.

APPLICATIONS:
Parts requiring excellent corrosion resistance along with mechanical properties approaching those of similar wrought grades. Added to these properties are good weldability and machinability.

CORROSION RESISTANCE:

• ASTM B 895-99, 6% NaCl Solution – >1500 hrs.
• ASTM B117-97 >750 hrs.
• Miami Marine Atlantic Intermittent Ocean Sea Water Test – >5000 hrs.
• Bellcore Lab's Environmental Specification #TR-NWT-0071 Sec. 4.5.4 above and below ground corrosion evaluation, especially for the communication industry – SUPRX™ and CITRX™ are the only P/M materials that meet the requirements of this test.
• 20° Baume HCI Mist Test – equivalent to VIM-VAR 316L and superior to wrought 316L and VIM 316L.
